The software version 9.3 WLABEL, WSDATA, WLABELPRINT is available! Print

A new update of Infodyne software (WLABEL, WSDATA and WLABELPRINT) is now available, it includes:

  • The application of the Regulation (EC) n° 790/2009, amending, for the purposes of its adaptation to technical and scientific progress, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. The Regulation of 10th August 2009,  was published in the Official Journal of 5th September 2009 (L235).

  • Integration of EFFA (European Flavour and Fragrance Association) Code of Practice 2009.

  • Taking into account of the Switzerland Exposure Limits Values 2009.

  • Update of the IARC Monograph 2009 (International Agency for Research on Cancer) on evaluation of carcinogenic risks, volumes 1-100A.

  • Update of the German regulation WGK on hazardous substances to water.

  • Update of the french regulation Nomenclature des Installations Classées pour la Protection de l’Environnement,  according to Decree  n° 2009-841 of 8 July 2009 published in the French Official Journal (10 July 2009).

  • Added list of substances described in the Toxicological Sheet of the INRS (National Institute for Research and Health) in paragraph 16 of safety data sheet in French only.
 
NEW: InfoDyne and flavor industry Print

InfoDyne softwares extend their scope by taking into account new regulations specific to the flavour industry and food additives (E).

WLABEL is enriched with a new database of substances containing all flavouring substances and food additives permitted in Europe. The database of flavouring substances and food additives, you can get a maximum of regulatory references related to each substance (number Flavis, No. FEMA, CoE number, INS number, index number, CAS and EC number).
The database of fragrances from the code of practice of EFFA (European Flavor and Fragrance Association) can also be used in your formulations.

WSDATA can automatically write the safety data sheet and the technical sheet of aroma.
On the technical sheet of flavour, you will find the following concepts: Need for labeling of GMO, Need for labeling regarding the presence of beef, radiation processing, list of allergens, categories of flavours, list of food additives and substances limited.

 
1st ATP of Regulation CLP Print

The Regulation (EC) n° 790/2009 of the commission of 10 August 2009 amending, for the purposes of its adaptation to technical and scientific progress, Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, was published in the European Official Journal of 5 September 2009.

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. Article 1 on additions, deletions and changes of substances in Table 3.1 Classification (GHS) and 3.2 (Classification 67/548/EEC) of Annex VI of the Regulation CLP (EC) No 1272/2008, shall apply from 1 December 2010. The harmonised classifications set out in Part 3 of Annex VI to Regulation EC (No) 1272/2008, as amended by this Regulation, may be applied before 1 December 2010.

 
Multilateral agreement concluded in accordance with Section 1.5.1 of ADR Print

The multilateral agreement M206 concerning Special marking provisions for environmentally hazardous substances was published on website of the UNECE.

"1. By derogation from the provisions of section 5.2.1.8 of ADR, dangerous goods assigned to UN numbers 3077 and 3082 may be carried

without the EHS mark shown in paragraph 5.2.1.8.3.

2. All other provisions relatingto the carriage of UN 3077 and UN 3082 shall be applicable.

3.This agreement shall apply to carriage on the territories of the Contracting Parties to ADR which have signed this agreement up to 31st

December 2009, unless it is revoked before that date by at least one ofthe signatories, in which case it shall remain applicable only for

transport on the territories of the Contracting Parties to ADR which have signed but not revoked this agreement, up to that date."

This new update includes the new regulations on the carriage of dangerous goods with:

  • The application of ADR regulations 2009 on the international transport of dangerous goods by road.

  • The application of the IMDG Code 2008 including Amendment 34-08, relating to international maritime transport of dangerous goods.

  • The application of IATA regulations 2009 "50th edition" on the international air transport of dangerous goods.

  • Taking into account of restrictions on the marketing and use of dichloromethane, organostannic compounds, lamp oil and liquid fire starter.
