An ecolabel is an official recognition logo that identifies products that have little impact on the environment.

An ecolabel is issued for a product following a third-party verification of compliance with defined specifications.
The ecological quality of a product is identified by a symbol on its label. The main ecolabels include the European “Flower” ecolabel and various national ecolabels, such as the “NF environnement” label for France.
