Trade Name Management Module for Safety Data Sheets

To save time and facilitate communication with clients.

This function enables the manufacturer to associate as many product reference numbers and trade names as it wishes with a single SDS that has already been saved in WSData.

It offers a database in which the reference number for the corresponding preparation is used as a base reference, and the first paragraph of the SDS can be managed specifically.

The basic principle of this operation consists of first entering a new triplet:

Commercial reference number - Trade Name – Company

and then associating it with an SDS that has already been saved in WSData.

SUBSTITUTIONS FOR THE REFERENCE NUMBER AND NAME of the preparation, as well as the company, (§ 1 of the SDS) based on the reference number and trade name and the company.

When the user double-clicks on an item under Trade Names, the SDS display module is launched with the desired commercial reference number and the trade name. The “Print the SDS” function as well as the Windows “copy/paste” function, are then available in the language of the user’s choosing.

Exporting SDSs to other Distribution Managers

They may or may not be accompanied by the “TNMM” commercial correspondence file.

This function allows the user to add, modify and delete data pertaining to the trade names of products associated with a safety data sheet.

The “Exportation,” “Safety Sheet,” and “By Trade Name” menus open a dialog box that exports data (in ASCII text, HTML or OpenQuick) to two separate databases named by the user:

• Exporting text from safety sheets with database reference and database name;
  company/business.
  
  
• Exporting trade names of the products associated with each export.
  (Database reference, commercial reference number, trade name).
  
  
• The data is exported in the language indicated in the “language” menu.
  
  
  

The TNMM is an optional module intended for commercial management for distributing SDSs from WSData.
